| What is Multipalio? | |
|
MULTIPALIO is a professional development programme for teachers and trainers. It consists of a series of modular workbooks covering the main themes and skills involved in planning and implementing open learning. The transnational consortium responsible for development is composed of a broad range of companies, universities and open learning specialists. They have pooled their expertise to develop materials which reflect the different European approaches to open and flexible training of trainers.
Under the aegis of the LEONARDO DA VINCI programme, MULTIPALIO has been developed for trainers and teachers working in companies, universities, and colleges. The MULTIPALIO modules not only target three core areas of open learning - design, materials and support - but also include the two specialist areas of information and evaluation. |
The principal contractor of MULTIPALIO is CAMPO, the Italian association of open and distance learning, whose members are from the corporate, university and training sectors. The objectives of MULTIPALIO are as follows:
During 1999-2000 the MULTIPALIO modules have been tested in Italy, Germany, France, Spain and Finland. |
